Here's a photo of Gerard and Kathy taken in front of a friend's Christmas tree in Halifax.
This is just a little site I put together to help us keep in touch. It seems that we are always busy and don't spend as much time together so this may be a way for us to share some family news with each other.

Christmas Photos From Marystown
Hey Everyone:
Hope you all had a nice Christmas Day with your families. The following is a few photos of the Stacey's in Marystown taken during Christmas Cheryl made it to St. John's on Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm about a half hour late minus her luggage. As you can imagine she was quite upset and we stayed in St. John's to check the next flight at 7:30pm. Still no luggage so we waited until 11:00pm for another flight, then 3 at midnight and still none. There was a 3:00am flight from Halifax with just luggage so we went back at 7:30am and one piece was there. We left after a 9:00am flight and came to Marystown. The other piece arrived that afternoon and it came to Marystown on Christmas Eve on taxi. She was quite relieved.
Christmas has been relatively busy with us visting family and family visiting us. In between Cheryl and I are watching the Team Canada at the World Junior Hockey Tournament. Always fun to watch those games.
Please forward any photo you may have and want me to upload.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Christmas Moncton Style!
Hi Everyone, I thought I would give you a little update on how things are going with the Moncton Stacey’s. Cory is still working at Atlantic Lottery, Matt is with the RCMP in Ottawa in the IT department and Adam has his own company. Diane is at the airport and Playtex the company I work for was sold to Energizer and yes I am still selling tampons. Diane and I are looking at four more years and we are planning on retiring. We are trying to come up with some ideas of things to do in retirement so feel free to contact us and offer any suggestions you might have. We went out and cut our Christmas tree (at a tree farm) a twelve footer with two trunks and about twelve feet wide. We had a hard time to get it in the trailer to get it home, had to force it in the door, Diane, Adam and myself tried to stand it up and it fell over on us. We had to summon Cory over and all four of us finally got it upright and into position. It will be nice because all our family will be together for the holidays and most of the boy’s girlfriends. Diane and I are planning on going to Newfoundland this summer and renting a cottage at the Golden Sands for a week if all goes well. Cory and Jen are planning on maybe spending the week with us. If I am not communicating with you guys and gals before the Holiday Season have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Kevin

Merry Christmas From Marystown 2007
Hi everyone:
Just a note to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas as well as a healthy and prosperous New Year.
We are quite busy here with work and getting ready for the Holiday season. Gladys and I are both working full time these days so it doesn't leave much time to get ready. We took a couple of days the week before last to go to St. John's to do some shopping. Hopefully she has all of it done. As for me I guess it will be a last minute thing.
Cheryl will be coming home for Christmas on Saturday December 22 and will be home until January 1. We are looking forward to having her home for that time. I will be going to St. John's on Friday to pick her up. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
All is well with Mother, Joan and Bernadette. Alv, Bernadette and Boyd have been back at the fish plant since June and will be laid off Friday Dec. 15 until the middle of January. Hopefully things will be much more settled at the fishplant in 2008.
In other news, Pat is now settled away in Florida and will be there for the next few months. It must be nice to be away from those cold temperatures which have come much earlier for us than in recent years. It seems like winter is here to stay. He can be reached at his email address which he should have set up by now. If you don't have it and would like it, just drop me a line. Also, I heard from Diane that Matthew will be home for the Christmas season. He and Christine(his girlfriend) will drive down from Ottawa soon. I believe Christine is coming over to Newfoundland to visit her father during the holidays. Maybe we'll get an opportunity to see her.
Please post a comment and let us know what happening with each of you during the holidays. I shall post again soon with some more information and maybe a few photos of Marystown.
Have a great Christmas with your families and friends.
