I am a little late with those photos, eh! These were taken during our visit to Toronto this past June and include some pictures of the boat we went sailing on with Greg one lovely Wednesday evening. It was quite an experience and one that Gladys won't soon forget as she was very nearly swept into Lake Ontario. It happened while she was tacking - going from one side of the boat to another when turning - and she got blocked from going by another person. When the boat hit the wave she fell back and was fortunate enough to grab on to the little side ropes you can see in the photos. She was ok except for a bump on her head, a couple of other bruises as well as losing her sunglasses and one earring overboard.
As well some of the photos were taken during a visit to Canada's Wonderland with Cheryl, Greg, Sarah and Chelsea. It was a lovely day there until about 4:00pm when the rain started and you can notice the wet hair in a couple of shots. A few were taken the day after Cheryl's 40th birthday party and you can see from those that we were all a little laid back that day.
There is one of Greg golfing at Lionhead Legends Golf Course where he and I went one day. As well there are a couple of our friends Clayton and Cassie McCarthy as well as their daughter, Janessa who live in Lindsey, ON. We went to visit them and Clayton and I played 9 holes that afternoon.
On our final day Brian, Josie and Julie came to visit as we hadn't seen Julie during our visit while that evening we went to dinner at the 360 restaurant in the CN Tower and there were a few photos taken there. With us were Cheryl and Greg as well as Nicole and her mother Karen.
Enjoy the photos.
Cheers,
Barry
