Barry
It's been a busy few months with work and moving into my new condo with Ryan. We bought ourselves a two bedroom/two bathroom 980sq-ft unit. You'll never guess how much this shoe box cost us. $287,000 dollars!!!! I'd hate to see what we could buy back east for that kinda money. Here in Victoria it'll get you a unit our size in a suburb 20km out of town. And that's a damn good price for one. For a house you'd be looking in the neighbourhood of about $500,000 for a starter home. It's insane. Glad to hear you guys are all doing well out there. I can't belive how much everyone's grown up. Last time I saw Tyler I think he was 5 or 6. Can't really say much about the weather out here other than it rains almost every day from November till about June. When we do get a brief sunny day I've been trying to sneak in a round of golf if I can. You tend to lose a lot of balls in the mud this time of year though. I'm planning on getting a new set of clubs this spring to replace the ones I bought a year and a half ago. I'm going to need to get them specially made so they fit my height. There's a place in town that does it for free if you get the clubs from them and they usualy have pretty decent deals. Ryan has been doing well too. He's working as a carpenter having just completed his second year in College for it. Likes his job a lot. I'm working for Shaw Cable out here doing tech support. Did the college thing too and graduated back in 06'. I was back in Halifax in November to see Dad and Kathy for two weeks. Had a really good time there. Their house is huge. The basement is about as big as my condo....actually I think it's about 400sq-ft bigger. Make sure you stop in next time you're in the neighbourhood. Heck, stop in here if you're ever on the west coast! I'll stick a few pictures of the new place in here. I'm perticularly fond of the 105' HD projector TV. You can watch the Maple Leafs lose game after game in high definition. I also get NTV and ATV out here so it's nice to watch that to see how things are going on the east coast. Working for the cable company has it's advantages. Hope everyone out there is doing well. Glad to hear that the plant is open again and that everyone is back to work. Next time I'm in Marystown I might have to take one of those new Suzukis for a test drive. Take er easy.
