Irish Jaunt

Hi there:

Sorry I haven't posted earlier but have been quite busy since I have returned from our trip to Ireland and London.

We had a great trip and spend a very fast paced two weeks. On our Ireland part of the trip, we had 6:15am wakeup calls, breakfast at 7:00am and on the bus at 8:00am. Then off we went to visit some of the tourist sites which we all enjoyed. We explored Dublin for the first couple of days and then we went from Dublin on the west of Ireland south and west to Limerick. We stayed in Killarney for a couple of nights too.

I've posted a few photos below from the trip. Most show us in various places, at dinner and there is one of us kissing the Blarney Stone. Actually the photos of us lying down on our backs is taken just as we had finished kissing the Stone. You have to ly on your back, lean back as far as you can to kiss it while some guy holds your shirt so you don't fall down the hole. It's about 100 feet up. We bought the photos taken by the site there. They are a little better than our photos. There is one photo of us having a beer at Ireland's oldest tavern, the Brazen Head, operating since 1198. Gladys is trying her first Guinness. I passed as I am not fond of it but I did drink a couple earlier in the week.

I do hope you enjoy the photos. I will post a few about our London excursion in the next day or so. I am off to Toronto to visit Cheryl on Friday. I will be going for two weeks and Gladys will join us the second week as she only has one week of vacation time left. I have been working a bit since I returned and I will be back full time once I return from Toronto.

Hope all is well with everyone out there.

Cheers.
Barry
